Dr. Ben Ingram opened Ingram Dental Clinic in August of 1984, after graduating from University of Alabama School of Dentistry in Birmingham. Outside of the office he enjoys traveling and visiting National Parks. He is also an avid Roll Tide Football fan. Dr. Ingram serves as President on the Piedmont Health Care Authority and facilitator of The Piedmont Benevolence Center. He also serves as a board member for The Piedmont Historical Society, which operates The Night In The Museum Hotel at the historic Roberts Home and is renovating the old railroad museum. Dr. Ben has served on municipal boards for over 40 years. He is married to Sandra (Steward) Ingram, who is the Office Administrator to Ingram Dental Clinic. They have two beautiful daughters. Krista an accountant is married to Brandon Connell, fireman/paramedic and they have two sons Fischer and Hunter. Amanda a dental hygienist at Ingram Dental Clinic is married to Geoffrey Cobb, who is employed with Anniston Army Depot. They have three children, Landon, Ainsley and Olivia. Dr. Ben and Sandra enjoy traveling in their free time.
Dr. Jennifer Proctor Burgess grew up in Cherokee County and had hopes of becoming a dentist since she was in middle school. Dr. Proctor graduated from Cherokee County High School and attended the University of Alabama at Birmingham where she received her bachelor’s degree in biology. After graduating, Dr. Proctor then stayed in Birmingham for another 4 years and received her doctorate in dental medicine from the University of Alabama at Birmingham School of Dentistry. Dr. Proctor enjoyed her time in Birmingham but always knew she wanted to come back closer to home. She is married to Kyle Burgess, and they share a black lab named Clyde. Outside of the office, Dr. Proctor enjoys reading, baking, and spending time with her family.
Randa Carroll started working for Dr. Ingram in August 1985 as a Dental Assistant. She is married to Bobby Joe Carroll, who is employed with Carroll’s Body Shop. They have no children but many special nieces and nephews. They enjoy traveling to Gatlinburg and the beach and caring for their many animals. They also attend Church of the Highlands.
Randa also runs Venecia’s Foundation, which was started by her late sister Venecia. The foundation helps cancer patients with various needs.
Telisha Ward has been working in the front office since 1988. She started working in the front office while still in high school. Outside of the office she enjoys traveling and spending time with her family.
Telisha loves meeting and helping our patients with scheduling appointments, insurance benefits and any other assistance they may need. Telisha attends Pleasant Arbor Baptist Church in Spring Garden.
Christi Baker Johnson began working for Dr. Ingram in May of 1995. She began as a Dental Assistant and later went on to get her Hygiene License at University of Alabama at Birmingham.
She is married to Rod Johnson and they have 3 boys. Andrew (Micaela), Nick and Eli. Christi enjoys traveling, watching Eli play sports and spending time with her family. She also attends Piedmont Church of Christ.
Allison Martin started working at Ingram Dental Clinic in 2009. Allison started in the dental field while in high school as an assistant. She later pursued the dental hygiene program at University of Alabama in Birmingham in 2002.
Allison has two beautiful children, Cole and Morgan. She also has her sweet Shih Tzu Andi, who Allison enjoys playing with and taking on her daily car rides. In her spare time, she enjoys traveling, shopping and spending time with her family. She also attends Church of the Highlands.
Amanda Cobb started working at Ingram Dental Clinic part time while attending college at Jacksonville State University (2005-2008). She obtained her Bachelors of Science degree in Pre-Health Professions from JSU in 2008. In 2011, she received her license as a Registered Dental Hygienist at University of Alabama at Birmingham. Amanda is married to Geoffrey Cobb and they have three beautiful children, Landon, Ainsley and Olivia. In her spare time, she enjoys watching her kids play baseball and softball and her family attends First Baptist Church of Piedmont.
Wendi came to work in the Business Office at Ingram Dental Clinic in June of 2025. After 12 years of working in the medical field in Birmingham, Alabama Wendi is glad to be back at home in Piedmont. Wendi obtained her Medical Assisting Degree from Gadsden Business College. Over the years Wendi has worked in the front office and most recently served as the Patient Financial Liaison for a large practice in Birmingham.
Wendi has two children, Dalton and Zoee. In her spare time, Wendi enjoys spending time with her four grandchildren, Blakely Alexa, Bennett Pace, Bradley Camp and Bailee Jo. If she isn’t with the grands you can catch her at a Piedmont Bulldog, UAB or Alabama football game. She attends Piedmont First United Methodist Church.
Kirstyn Ford began working at Ingram Dental Clinic in July of 2025. In 1997, Kirstyn attended the University of Alabama at Birmingham and obtained her Dental Hygiene License. Prior to coming to Ingram Dental Clinic, she worked at a dental clinic in Anniston, Alabama for 29 years.
Kirstyn is married to Craig Ford and has two children, Lucas (Rachel), and Sarah (Bradley). In her spare time, she enjoys spending time with her grandson, Christian and other members of her family. She attends Harvest Church of God in Anniston.
